About This Course
This course aims to develop personal mastery competence to stay resilient and adaptive in trying times while keeping relevant and aligned with organisational goals.
On completion of this course, learners will be able to :
1. Access the different sources of information in identifying the local and global trends which will impact one’s employability and job role
2. Identify and understand the different aspects of changes, its impact on one’s employability and how one can respond to it, including adopting the correct stance towards one’s self-esteem and attitude
3. Identify the types of competencies required for current and new job role, the types of changes one needs to adopt and how one can cope with these elements in order to remain employable and competitive in the local and global context
4. Identify the gaps and causes in one’s own competencies, and how one can bridge the gaps by determining learning needs and undertaking appropriate learning and development opportunities or appropriate resources which suit one’s learning styles
5. Transfer the acquired skills and knowledge back to the workplace, measure one’s improvement in performance and adopt appropriate measures in overcoming the barriers to transfer of learning
6. Understand the aspects of learning, in order to learn better from others, or to use coaching to teach others any new skills-set as part of motivating and helping others at the workplace
7. Understand the characteristics of diversity, its implications in the workplace, and adopt relevant, positive approaches in adapting towards a diverse workforce

Entry Requirements
Learners are assumed to:
1. Be able to speak, listen, read and write English at a proficiency level not
lower than the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ)
Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 4
