About This Course
This course seeks to equip learners with the skills required to create content such as graphics, designs and layout for digital platforms. Learners will learn about the various design specifications and requirements of common digital platforms from social media to web. They will be introduced to aesthetic and design, colour and typography, vector graphics and layout concepts. Coupled with the software tools to apply these concepts, learners will create digital assets and combine them into a coherent design for different digital platforms.
Learners are expected to demonstrate their skills and knowledge in a capstone project as part of this course.
This course is for learners who wish to build a new career in visual and graphic design. This course is also useful for professionals in marketing roles who need to develop capabilities to create digital collaterals for below-the-line or social media projects.
