Learners will be able to distinguish talent from skill, and understand how to carry out assessment of capability. Learners are able to articulate their top strengths and also be able to justify their suitability for employment, when doing a career-switch, for greater job scope, promotion to handle managerial/global responsibilities. Working teams will be adept at strategic communication for talent sourcing, management, and development.
What You'll Learn
This Talent Management workshop has been designed to help organisations in the public and private sectors to maximise their human resource capability, cut wastage, and avoid lose. This course targets professionals who have the responsibility of hiring and managing employees for their organisation across various sectors. The focus is on how to use Talent Management Tool, with reference to Clifton StrengthsFinder – through a strengths-based approach – at each stage of the employment cycle to drive positive business outcomes and a better employee experience. This course provides talent-based hiring solutions and employee-development strategies for businesses and organisations looking to expand their capabilities. Across all organisation, SMEs to MNCs, public to private, strategic talent management and development is pertinent to identifying and selecting the right people for the right appointments.
Entry Requirements
Learners who signed up for this course must meet the following pre-requisites:
• 2 GCE ‘O’ Level Grades (Grade 1-8) in any two subjects, or
• 3 GCE ‘N’ Level Passes (Grade A-D or Grade 1-5) in English Language and two other subjects, or
• Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5 in Speaking and Listening, and Level 4 in Reading, Writing and Numeracy
• Educational Qualification: Secondary Level for Singaporeans, SPM for Malaysians and Other Foreign Workers will be accessed based on their education.
The above is to ensure that learners possess the language/ communication abilities to understand and benefit from the course.
If learners do not have the necessary entry requirements, they will first be advised to obtain the necessary requirements. If a staff is highly recommended by the supervisor, the Training Manager of TP will conduct a personal interview to ascertain the suitability of the candidate.
