CISCO Network Administration
About This Course
This Cisco Network Administration course is a 6 month hands-on course that aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to be a practising network engineer. Using the Cisco Network Academy�s course curriculum and materials, this course will also prepare participants with the pre-requisite knowledge and skills to undertake the CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification upon successful completion of the course.
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Describe the devices, protocol layers and fundamental concepts of data networks
2. Configure and troubleshoot basic switched networks including VLAN�s using Cisco switches
3. Configure and troubleshoot DHCP and DNS operations for IPv4 and IPv6
4. Setup and secure wireless networks
5. Configure and troubleshoot routed networks via RIP and OSPF using Cisco routers
6. Configure and troubleshoot IPSec tunnelling and Network Address Translation (NAT)
7. Monitor and troubleshoot network operations using syslog, SNMP and Net Flow
8. Describe WAN technologies and their benefits
