About This Course

The purpose of this course is to equip participants with the operational and management skills to meet the demands of the health, wellness and spa industry.

The certificate will be delivered through hands-on simulation and practical activities conducted in the classroom as well as in the purpose-built Spa Technical Laboratory at the Republic Hospitality Centre. The laboratory is equipped with the necessary facilities and equipment to create a conducive, active learning environment to simulate the realities of the industry. This certificate will foster and instil skills not only in spa therapies and organisation of work but also proper grooming and deportment expected in the industry. Simulation of client care and consultation will inculcate interpersonal communication skills, which is critical to determine the client’s condition and to tailor the therapies accordingly.
