Engage Internal and External Stakeholders in Business Presentation using Storytelling Strategy
About This Course
This course begins with the definition of effective presentations and public speaking, the various types of presentation formats, and their importance to one’s work and career when needed to speak to stakeholders in a mass presentation or speaking from a platform. Learners will then go through an in-depth discussion on the destroying factors that will impede the effectiveness and success of presentations and public speaking. A Presentation Skills and Public Speaking Self-Assessment will be conducted, after which key successful factors of an effective presentation and public speaking encounter will be shared with the learners. From knowing the different presentation types to objectives-setting to content-handling to knowing the audience demography to projecting one’s image appropriately on the platform, from delivery format to voice aspects to body language skills, from utilising visual to auditory to kinaesthetic techniques, from attention-catching introduction to making the main presentation gist interesting to closing the presentation with an impact, from time management to handling questions to answering them precisely and concisely, etc., all these will be shared. But that’s not all – with data being used more and more in presentations, this training will focus on the presentation skills and public speaking strategy of storytelling and its various techniques to elevate one’s skills in this area to the next level. Lastly, the whole course will conclude with case studies of various presentations and public speaking with inputs from the learners for more focused learning with directed application.

Entry Requirements
• 21 years and above
• Possess minimally a Secondary Level and/or listen, speak, read, and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5
• Use numeracy skills equivalent to the Employability Skills System Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 5
• Minimum 3 months of working experience
