About This Course
Early childhood educators have a major influence in the lives of young children, and the use of many talents and skills are required in teaching. They are also expected to be models of communication and interpersonal skills in their interactions with children, parents and colleagues. Educarers need a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities, continuity in evaluating own performance and identifying needs for professional growth. This module focuses upon the professional knowledge and skills of early childhood educarers, identification of various modes of personal and professional development through continuous development and sharing their skills with others. They will learn to identify the importance of reflective practices in their personal and professional growth.

Entry Requirements
Applicants should have:
a. Minimum Secondary 4 education* or completed 10 years of formal education* and
b. At least an average SOA in the WPL series, including an SOA 5 for WPL-Writing
*Official documents are required to show completion of 10 years of education. Medium of instruction is to be in English.
