About This Course

The physical environment affects the way young children develop, learn and behave. Arrangement of space, equipment and materials affect the way children interact with each and learning. The amount and arrangement of space and the choice and abundance of play materials can either increase the chances that young children will interact positively with each other or increase the likelihood of biting, toy pulling, and dazed wandering.

This module is aimed to help educarers understand the importance of planning the physical environment and its impact on children’s total development.
