This course provides a comprehensive overview of synthetic grass athletic fields, covering various aspects from materials used to installation and maintenance. Participants will learn about different types of synthetic grass materials, including new and environmentally friendly options. The course emphasizes best practices for artificial turf usage, including managing turf usage intensity and rest cycles. Through project management oversight, participants will gain practical skills in the installation process, covering site preparation, base and drainage construction, shock pad installation, line marking, and long-term maintenance. Additionally, the course addresses turf maintenance techniques such as laying, trimming, and joining synthetic grass rolls, infill application, brushing, compacting, and equipment safety.
By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively install and maintain synthetic grass athletic fields.
