About This Course
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to:
•apply critical thinking and clinical reasoning to identify problems and develop care plans;
•assess health education needs and conduct focused patient/ family education;
•apply evidence-based practice to improve the standard of care provided to surgical patients; and
•demonstrate confidence in their clinical abilities and have a strong commitment to quality patient care and continuing education.

Entry Requirements
A local Polytechnic Diploma (Nursing), Degree in Health Sciences (Nursing), or nursing qualification equivalent;
A valid practising certificate from the Singapore Nursing Board; and
At least 2 years of clinical practice and with a minimum of 1 year in the discipline of study.
