About This Course

This module examines the impacts of anthropogenic climate change on the natural environment and consider how society and existing technologies might be employed to control the sources and responses to deal with the impacts.

• Explain the causes and effects of climate change
• Describe the solutions to tackle global warming and climate change
• Explain the challenges faced in energy and water resources management
• Explain the challenges faced in food production
• Discuss the issues of chemical toxins in the environment
• Explain the causes and consequences of human population growth
• Apply the concept of sustainability
