About This Course

This course will enable Unmanned Aircraft (UA) operators to be proficient in generating 2D, 3D and orthographic maps at your fingertips. In this course, photogrammetry workflow such as pre-processing, accuracy assessment and post processing using Pix4DMapper software will be covered. You will also learn to plan and execute autonomous flight missions to collect aerial images for photogrammetry processing.

What You'll Learn

By the end of the course, participants will be able to
1. Understand the theory and capabilities of photogrammetry.
2. Understand Pix4DMapper workflow and functions.
3. Learn how to produce accurate 2D and 3D georeferenced representations of reality, including orthomosaics and 3D models, acquire accurate geometric measurements and sharing deliverables with stakeholders using Pix4DMapper software.
4. Plan and execute Unmanned Aircraft (UA) flight exercises to understand how flight parameters can affect quality of photogrammetry results.
