At the end of the course, the participants will understand:
• 5G new radio technologies
• 5G Radio network design and optimisation
• Management of 5G NR
• Differentiate the various types of Cloud RAN
• Open RAN and its deployment as a case study
What You'll Learn
5G is fast and reliable. It also enables the operator to offer different classes of service through network virtualisation in network slicing.
5G is able to do the above through new radio spectrum, new antenna technologies like Massive Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) and beamforming, new modulation techniques and end-to-end network provisioning.
In this course, we will explain the above terms and how the implementation is done.
We will also explore Open RAN as a standard, its deployments and how it can disrupt the telecom and enterprise equipment market and what to look out for. Case study on Rakuten, Japan
