LO1: Develop an application development project plan
LO2: Illustrate the programming framework and technical specifications for application development
LO3: Establish the security requirements, standards and features required for the planned applications
LO4: Create the virtual environment meeting the specifications for the coding, deployment and utilisation of applications
LO5: Devise versatile and repurpose able user interface design templates using suitable Graphical User Interface (GUI) toolkits
LO6: Develop applications based on specifications using a combination of tools and methodologies
LO7: Conduct selected software and security tests on developed applications
LO8: Analyse test results to derive areas for improvement in the application’s functionality, performance and security
LO9: Apply resolutions to identified functional, performance and security issues
LO10: Establish plans for reconfiguring, integrating and porting application components to improve the application’s functionality, usability and security
What You'll Learn
Entry Requirements
Learners are expected to:
• Have basic competence in Python; demonstrable by having completed our ‘Fundamental Python Programming for Business Automation’course or other similar courses
• Be able to read, write and speak English at WSQ Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5 or at least GCE “N” Level.
• Be able to manipulate numbers at WSQ Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 5 or at least GCE “N” Level.
