What You'll Learn
The programme will equip mid-career individuals, including those in employment, with the right skills to make career transitions in the Food Services sector and prepare them for more complex job functions in the alcoholic beverages preparation and mixology industry. The various technical and soft skill courses will equip individuals with skills and competencies to work effectively and efficiently in food and beverage service establishments with a focus in mixology. Learners will be introduced to different types of house spirits, sensory profiles and bartending techniques and learn various methods to prepare and serve classic and contemporary cocktails that are aligned to industry standards.
Upon completion of the course, there will be placement facilitation services available and learners can expect placement jobs in bespoke cocktail bars, hotel bars and food and beverage service establishments that serve an alcoholic beverage menu.
