About This Course
Sales professionals in Singapore are still entrenched in traditional offline marketing techniques. They lack the necessary knowledge and practice to formulate and implement an effective digital marketing plan on social media platforms. This digital transformation wave is led by the rise of mobile Internet and eCommerce, it is critical for professionals to retool themselves to capture the opportunities that the new Internet-based economy has to offer.
Our proposed course will seek to bridge this digital skills gap and transition the traditional offline marketer into one capable of selecting and launching campaigns across different Social Media Marketing based on their organisation objectives. To enable a rich learning experience, the course will focus on the following:

LO2: Identify types of social media platforms, tools and their operations
LO3: Propose improvements to marketing and promotion through social media engagement
LO4: Describe the organisational policy and procedures for social media use
LO5: Prepare documentation to collate past outcomes of social media marketing activities
LO6: Name the rules and regulations and terms of use of specific social media platforms
LO7: Participate in social media marketing campaign activities
Entry Requirements
• The entry requirement will be ‘N’ level/’O’ level qualification and above and be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the ES WSQ WPL level 5/’N’ level.
• Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES WSQ Workplace Numeracy (WPN) level 5/’N’ level.
• At least 3 years working experience in supervisory/team leader role.
• Use the Illeris dimensions (Please refer to the Part 4C in the Course Proposal) to ascertain learner’s suitability. If they don’t meet the criteria, learners will have to attend and attain minimum WPL of level 5 and WPN of level 5.
• Learners without any formal qualifications (e.g. NTC / N Level / O Level etc) will be required to provide SOA or supporting documents to prove that they have attended minimum of three WSQ training pro- grams (equivalent or higher).
